Although back in the day my Dad owned a 22 ft daysailer with a swing keal that we kept on a big lake in Kansas. I spent many hours beating up wind or running wing and wing with the spinnaker deployed. It was a lot of fun making the wind work for us. I always loved healing it over and controlling the boat with the sheets and the tiller. Also great times with my Dad who is gone now. Good stuff! My sailing lingo may be off a bit but it has been a long time. |
