Subject: Re: Monday Chat 11.21.11 by Ultraman on 2011/11/21 17:12:23 Got the Tahoe back.....it was the throttle position sensor that was acting up......they replaced it but had to put on a whole new throttle body because the position sensor is integrated into it.......smaaarttt! It's an 09 and in 09 this was part of the 5 year or 50K drivetrain warranty......2010 and beyond it is only part of the 3 year or 36K bumper to bumper warranty.....we have 37K on the vehicle so I would have leaned on them to get it covered in the 36k if that had been the case. Chevy is having a issue with these right now.....this guy says he is changing out a lot of them....hmmmmmmm. |
