Wash one of your other cars,Andy.
Then put your cover on that car inside-out. That way, you're flushing the dirt/whatever from the inside of the cover to the outside.

I'd use a little liqiud laundry detergent/water mix and spray it on or just mix it in a bucket and pour it on.

Let it set a few minutes and hose it off.

I just did mine this way. My pickup needed washed again after I removed the cover. A lot of dirt came out.
