Evening guys....eventful day here. Glad we're back up and running.

Worked most of the day on that bathroom. A guy was supposed to bring a "knock-down trowel" at 8am over so I could texture the ceiling. Never showed so I rolled it on and knocked it down with my 12" sheet-rock knife. Looked pretty good. But waiting for the guy made me miss my #2 GS b-ball game. So after I got the ceiling troweled I had #1 GS help me take the toilet and the vanity out. Then I called the wife and told her I was headed for the "city" to pick up the two sheets of underlayment. When I got over there and dropped the tailgate down there were the two knock-down tools. The guy had put them in my pickup last night while I was working the ball game and couldn't get hold of me to tell me, and I missed his call this morning. Oh, well it turned out fine my way.

Well, I got home and got the underlayment put down, cleaned up the sink of all the old faucet and the silicon. I helped the wife (who is back from #2's game, which he won) start the painting of the walls. Don't have to do the ceiling as I thinned the compound down with paint.

By then it is time to take a shower and head for the rare Saturday night b-ball game. It is with our cross county rival and homecoming (Varsity Girls lost by two and the V-Boys won by 30) In the Freshman game (which I didn't get to see as I work the Varsity gym) my #1 GS had a great game 30 points and 14 rebounds in a big rout 79-32. He didn't even play in the fourth quarter.

Home from the game, the walls look great so I decide to pull the tape, install the light fixtures and get things prepped for tile tomorrow.

Think I'll head for bed...my butt is dragging.
