Sun Day Chat - 05-06-2012

Subject: Sun Day Chat - 05-06-2012

Good Morning Gurus! I'm off to another day of autocross. I'm not sure how much autocross I'll get to do since we are short handed and I only have one other person helping me with the timing chores. I'm sure we will figure it out.

I will be driving the Mazda today - I need to keep with one vehicle for a while and not get hung up on switching back and forth too much.

Marcus asked regarding the "young kids" at the autocross events.

Marcus, we will see today. There will be lots of new Z06s getting spanked by younger drivers with better reflexes and more nimble vehicles. Z06 = Dragstrip, Road Course It is hobbled on our tight little courses we set up. It still outperforms the other cars in its class and with a good driver watch out. However, a lot of the guys that come down with new Z06s don't know how to drive them very well. I'm sure I wouldn't drive one very well without some time behind the wheel. I drove my friend Jim's 2009 Z06 and almost immediately swung the ass end around turning out of an intersection quickly.

Have a Sunny Sunday all! I'll check back later this evening
