Good question. They just cut and turned the okra that was growing there. I'll let you know when I see the new plants. All the farmers are busy now. The main growing season is just beginning. Winter crops are a Homestead staple. Tomatoes, corn, pole beans, yellow squash, potatoes, cukes amd a few others are common. Strawberries a little later in the season. |
