I attended NASCAR events for over a decade at Homestead-Miami Speedway and once at Daytona. One time at Daytona was more than enough. I left with about 20 laps to go. It was a wise move on my part. I was on I-95 southbound heading to Titusville when the race ended after a long delay. Jeff Gordon won which made me that much happier I had left when I did. I didn't have to see it. I lost interest in NASCAR. Maybe after seeing so much of the same thing over and over again it was time to move on.
