Maybe it needs a new battery. Can you stay here a couple of minutes while I go pick up a few trees? Then we'll go get a battery. 20 mniutes later. Look I'll go to the house get my wallet and I'll go get the battery. Get to the parts store. Two lines, lots of customers. Guy in front of me takes about 10 minutes and the store clerk is a noob. My patience is wearing thin, especially since I don't feel 100%. Get the battery and stop by the gas station on the way home since I have to gas up to go get my mom. Gas pump runs slow as molasses. You gotta be f@(%ing kidding me. Get back to the nursery, put in the battery and head back to the house. Elasped time about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Q: Guess what I won't be doing any more of today? A: Cleaning house. I'm getting dressed, packing an overnight bag and I'm outa here. 500 mile round trip. Drive up today, drive back tomorrow morning. Then do it all over again on Wednesday. At least there will be 4 hours of peace during the drive. |
