Not when it reveals cracks in the glass.

And that was out of a spray can to see where I was, it'll get all sanded back off.

Now, I could write you a primer on primers.

Such as zinc chromate for bare metal and alumalumm.

Or self etching primer for bare metal.

Or the PPG K36 that I have on the shelf which is a high build primer that gets sprayed over primer. Then 90% of it gets sanded off when you block sand.

Or Feather Fill which sprays REALLY thick.

Or Primer Surfacer which gets sprayed over the high build primer that was sprayed over the etching primer.

And of course, the Guide Coat Primer which is a different color of primer that gets fogged on in between primer coats so when you block sand you can find the peaks and valleys.

And then the glazing putty which gets put on top of the primer but gets covered with primer, so you usually don't get to see it.
