Well, the painting was going well yesterday until I started cleaning up. I used a new tape this time that BIL recommended to me. It's called green frog tape, as opposed to the standard blue 3m I always use. As I pulled it off, I got a lot of tearing along the edges of the paint. Darn it. The air was very humid which I'm sure had something to do with it, and I did score my edges with a razor first.

I like froggy, have a couple rolls in the shop for non-critical car stuff. But use the good, 3M green tape mostly.

The blue stuff leaks at the edges but they've improved it a bit in the last couple years.

I think you have to pull the tape on latex either when it's wet or wait until it's totally dry.

And you have to pull the tape back over itself so it will cut the edge.
