As a young lad in caddy camp, I hung with the wrong crowd (as was the case through the first several decades of my life). Sometimes instead of caddying, we'd go down to the stream and catch frogs. One of the guys who no doubt went on to become a seriel killer, would place a tree branch in the mud and impale frogs from the smaller branches, in effect creating a frog tree. It's one of those things you never forget. |
