Game night had ended and I thought it was time to relax ..... Wrong ..... Even though I had given my spouse a copy of the available general practicioners in out area several months ago,she had failed to call one and make an appointment. She asked for an updated list which I provided. Next came a rant and rave session about why I can't find her a doctor. She's busy and she works blah, blah, blah. My response to her .... How do I know what kind of Dr you want? Maybe you'd prefer a woman. I took the liberty of printing out all the Family Practice Drs to add to the field. How is Family Medicine different than General Practice I wonder? That only added fuel to the fire. For some unknown reason(women being from Venus) she wants us to both see the same doctor. I guess in her mind, a family doctor is a doctor for the family. She wants me to make an appointment for both of us.( We have not had a general practicioner for a couple of years now due to disputes, retirement and one that flipped out). I know none of the doctors reputations. I told her I might as well just throw a dart. So ..... I'm back in the doghouse again for something that pretty much had little or nothing to do with me except in the mind of a woman. Never really thought of selecting a doctor as a bonding issue.  Have a great day gurus. I'm going for a ride to check out some Drs offices. |
