My truck is bigger than his  There's a place halfway between us - a real dive with the best burgers around and the absolute coldest beer and worn out pool tables so I voted to go there for a couple beers and a burger n fries. Was a win-win. Was home by 9:30 - supposed to go someplace else next weekend. Got a late lunch today but for dinner on this about to be frigid evening I've got a stoneware crock in the oven full of three kinds of baked beans, a shot of bourbon and some lil' smokies, cornbread will add to it later and possibly a blackberry/raspberry cobbler. OF course all that crap will end up in the freezer but for now it will be good supper. |
