I saw an SCCA racecar heading out from the track on Saturday. It was an 80's 930. Somebody's doing it. My financial situation is about to change so anything is possible. By the way ........ At 58 I don't have a lot of issues with sitting and staring. I was a late bloomer to the autocross scene. Better late than never. DE is possible. I'd probably come to love it but my reflexes ain't what they used to be. Vision issues to boot. At least I'd be able to go as fast as my abilities would take me. Fast enough to be slow on the track. ......... I still enjoy driving spiritedly. Matter of fact I gave the 90 a good run today and the 928 a couple of days ago. I'm not dead yet. There is still plenty of fun to be had. |
