They said they had the lot for years and weren't thinking of doing anything with it. Sue and his wife chatted a bit and Sue threw them a price. .95 acres of it is a NCF, a National Conservation Forest designation, which means you can build on about .24 acres. Enough for a house or a big shop/garage. The rest is supposed to stay natural. We'll see how it goes. We told them we'd be happy to entertain a counter proposal. The wife said she'd get back with us. I sure hope she does. Countdown is on. 3 days till launch. |
