Tommy, is the roof pitched at all? If so, I'd want the lower panels under to prevent water intrusion. If not, it won't really matter.

Marcus - glad mom is doing better.

The lower panels ARE 6" under the higher panel. Yes, it's pitched. 5 1/2 inches higher on one end over 16 ft. The shed sheds water. It was the overlap valleys on the panels I got wrong. They all still overlap only I should have put the panel under the preceding one but mistakingly I put it on top which left 1/3 " of flat metal exposed. You should not see that 1/3rd " piece. It should be underneath, hidden. All the panels are interlocked. It's a cosmetic difference. I went up and looked at it good today and figured the fix may cause more damage than just leaving it alone. You don't want more holes in the roof than you have to have and I really don't want to fix something that doesn't have to be fixed. Blow it up and look close. You'll see what I'm talking about. The black lettering should not be seen. To the left of the black lettering you can see the little flat metal that runs the length of the panel. NBD.
