What's a DA/SA gun mean?

If I remember correctly from my Navy days, it means double-action/single-action—the first shot being double and the rest being single. But, that was a long time ago …

That's pretty much it. In a DAO (double action only) every time you pull the trigger back it also pulls the hammer back to fire the gun. Usually a very long and/or heavy trigger pull. If you have a DA/SA gun, the first trigger pull is heavy and cocks the hammer back. Then the second trigger pull is very short and light because the hammer is already reset by the gun cycling. On some guns you can manually pull the hammer back and set it so that it's single action on the first shot. But not all guns have an exposed hammer to do that. Clear as mud?

This, of course, is not to be confused with MC Hammer. Right, Tommy?

Gris, it's an aftermarket mag. It's what I could find. I think it was a mec-gar which is usually a good mag in the aftermarket. I'll have to tinker with it later.
