Good morning - I also had some of that 225 AC in a car or two. Miserable around here.
Still miserable. This week we've had heat indexes around 110. And, me in my infinite widsom worked outside during the worst part of it yesterday - got too hot, feel like crap today. Ran my butt off Friday, dont' even remember what we did Saturday, Sunday we sat in the pool some. Hoping for a slow day at work today. Too tired and just want to sleep.
Good news on your recovery John - in regards to the elliptical - there's a sit-down version of that at the gym, you can add 'weight' and increase 'levels' and the hand bars you push and pull so your whole body gets worked, the foot part is like an elliptical. I'm not sure what they call it but one of those might do good for you as well. The treadmills here aren't much for shock absorption but the one at our beach condo we stayed at was niiiicceee. I could run on it and not hurt everywhere, even with my knees.
Tommy - if you cash out, congratulations on retirement, unless of course the cash goes toward more work for you lol
