Gmornin, It's already half a week into August and I'm still mentally back in June. Been in the pool a whole 4 hours it seems like since it was warm enough to get into. Jumped in yesterday for a couple of hours and the folks behind us apparently invited their toddler grandkids over. So, instead of peace and relaxation I had screaming ass kids. Weird, when I was that age, I was taught by my grands to keep my mouth volume down as we have neighbors that we need to be considerate of. I was kind enough to entertain them with some Limp Bizkit, Eminem, Metallica and a few 90's rap throwbacks using the big JBL crowd speaker set over by the fence. Wasn't all my choice of tunes, I'd rather just hear the breeze and birds but it at least drowned out their goblins for a bit. Continuing to print pics for the upcoming court mess with the crazy truck lady, hopefully almost done, and trying to get a wrap approved so the guys have something to work on. Off subject question - if any of you has dealt with a loved one with a cancer situation like Arron is in, did you find yourself on the receiving end of some harsh behaviour? That's where I'm at lately, for the last couple weeks anyway. Seems when he found out all this mess, he was kind, loving, and open to communication, and I was there for him when he cried to hold him, reassure him, advocate for him, and be there for him. Now, I'm getting talked to hatefully, bitched at, emotionally avoided, etc. I'm to the point of getting a storage building to put my crap in and finding an apartment or something. My heart breaks for what he's facing but I won't exhaust myself taking care of someone who is mean to me, and does things that throw gas on the efforts of the doctors to help him also. He has one kidney - with cancer - and coke/beer/processed foods are the top three things he is told to avoid and the first two he is doubling down on. Those literally affect whether or not his chemo works, and with one kidney, it needs to operate at optimum . I'm in an odd spot. |
