Subject: Thursday, 8-13 by vetteblondie on 2026/8/13 17:53:08 Good afternoon, still excessively hot here, glad the air in the office works. Got a few things to be working on but figured I deserved a quick lunchbreak. I have enough to keep me busy for the next two weeks. Arron has another infusion tomorrow, prayers that all goes well, as he desperately needs these treatments and needs them to work. I have a couple of appts later, then we both have some Tuesday that will take me out of here for 2/3 of the day. He's been wanting a dog, and I don't, but I know it would help him to have something. I just ain't up for taking care of and cleaning up after anything else right now. The owner's daughter who bought the tint part of the business across the street has an 11 year old Frenchie who gets on her last nerve. He's a vecro dog and escape artist. She's often brought him over here during the day to stay with me because I'm always in here so he'll be calm or sleep. He has to be around someone. Well, I took him home last night. Arron seemed indifferent for a bit, but petted him while I was in the kitchen making dinner. After, the dog jumped up on the couch by me and slept for a while and Arron slept in his chair. I used that opportunity to go get cleaned up for bed. Soon as I came out, they were awake, done been outside. Arron said soon as I was gone, dog woke up looking for me. After that, dog got up in his lap and slept for a couple more hours till I went to bed. Felt dog jump up on bed after, then I guess Arron realized he's missing so he came and got him and he slept in there with him. I left him there this morning, and Arron will drop him off later today when he gets to town. At least his dog mom and pop had some peace and quiet for a bit she said lol |
