Subject: Re: Friday Chat 07.25.08 by Notorious on 2008/7/26 0:38:10 The last couple of weeks at work have been really fun. I've been working on a very nice '64 Ranchero with 62K original miles on it. I'm going all over it and doing any needed repairs and maintenance to get it ready to compete in time-distance events for vintage cars. It's owner has competed in The Great American Race for vintage cars and also owns a '39 Pontiac that he drives in such events. The Ranchero is for his wife to compete with. I love working on this old stuff with carte blanche to make it "right." He seems very pleased with all I've done so far. Hopefully he'll bring that 1939 "Tin Indian" to me to massage next. |
