Darn it. I was willing to bid a george washington for that shiny car, hoping the ebay newb hadn't put up a reserve, but alas it was already a couple bills above that. Maybe next time

PS - you do have to be careful, too, like stated. I have bought a lot of crap off ebay that I didn't need, yet I've gotten some great deals on other stuff. It's hard not to impulse buy, sometimes. And since you can't hold the stuff in your hand, it's hard to judge the quality.
