He was very nice and said that it was covered by my comprehenive with a $500 deductible per policy. This means that Kathie's car will not be covered since the Sirius equipment is only $150 at the max. However he will pay for the purchase and installation of a new DVD/Nav system for the Matrix with me paying $500. He also said that this is a "no fault" claim and that it will have no influence on my future rates. Also said that "locked or unlocked" doesn't matter in this situation. Question is... do I believe him? I told him I'd have to think it over tonight and look around for a place to buy and install. I'd install it myself, but I'm about all installed out at the moment trying to get my Vette finished by the end of the month of Ocean City Corvette Weekend on Oct. 3rd. |
