Subject: If it weren't for bad luck.... by DaleD on 2008/11/17 15:51:18 Driving my new, used 05 Camry to work today. Making a right, and someone was in the crosswalk. Stopped to let the person cross and *wham* I'm hit from behind. Some guy in a big old Tahoe. I get out, he tells me he has no insurance and asks me to go to a body shop with him, he'll pay out of pocket. No! So then, while we're waiting for the police, he tells me he's on his way to court, has no license, no insurance. Great. He pulls out a cell phone, walks around the corner and *poof* he's gone. Not his car, so he left it. Guarantee that the owner will claim it was stolen. So, that leaves me paying $250 deductible for something that I had no fault in. Damn, just damn. |
