Bait and switch? I wouldn't know WHAT to call this...

Subject: Bait and switch? I wouldn't know WHAT to call this...

I signed on multiple services with Verizon - cell, broadband.

They waived lots of startup charges, surcharges and fees. To the tune of $76.42. Even itemized it in the first page of my first bill (8 pages).

On page 2, startup charges, surcharges, and fees, line-by-line, added back into the bill - $74.41 (partial month tax was pro-rated for the difference).

What do you call THAT? Bait and ... bait??? First 8 days, plus first full month = $217+.

They got a 30-day 'OUT' period. I already canceled the broadband service cause I won't be able to go without a home phone hardline. I just sent an email, sayin' I needed to hear LOTS of love on Monday before the post office closes, so I know if EVERYTHING needs to go back to them, instead of just the broadband modem...

Sir RANCELOT OUT!

Hey VERIZON... can ya' hear me NOW????????????/
