Well you've got so much stuff in there that I wouldn't really be able to see the new paint. Another shelf or two will totally cover all the way space, giving you better storage, and making you not have to paint. Just my two cents.

BTW did you get my PM?

Some of the stuff on the shelves will be cleaned off and gone. And the next shelving system I use will be cut in half, so it will only be 36" tall. And the main reason for the paint is to clean up a few spots, and currently the color is more of a cream which does not reflect the light as much as I like.

I thought I had sent a response. I've been looking into making a cooler duct for the C5 kit. I'll have some time here after I get back from Sebring.

Forget the paint. Fill in the spaces with Corvette posters and signs, decals etc. You can paint the floor with a gallon of grey floor paint. Lighting and drops sound good. Pick up a couple extra cases of ale.

I've got plenty of banners and posters. Most of the poster I've got are ZR-1 collectibles and are not suitable for garage art unfortunately. Other things I can mount on a wall are a Phase 2 LT5 prototype Plenum, C5R dry sump pan from a Le Mans car and a C6R rear fender. I'll throw up some pictures of my misc banners later.

The big thing on the floor is I use the garage. Remove engines, etc, build up engines and whatever else. So the floor coating will need to take a lot of abuse. Hell you can see the two ZF's on the floor along with a LT5 that's torn down.
