I mean couldn't you have slowed down to prevent being run off the road? I know it's hard to not get offended or aggressive, but most of these drivers are simply unattentive and careless, they're not trying to kill you.
On my bike I still get pissed at drivers sometimes and am tempted to kick/punch their cars, but honestly, only the ones doing it on purpose deserve that, and ultimately if the point is to get away unscathed, I have to swallow my pride and just get away from them quickly.
