Pretty cool.Now, onto my rant: As many of you know, I had a flight to NY yesterday afternoon. So I show up a couple hours early for my flight like any good traveler should (checked beforehand, all was on time). Thought I'd plug my laptop in and do a little surfing waiting for the plane. Can you believe they charge $6.99 at the airport to use the internet? I was pissed. I figured I'd go have a beer. So after my $8.91 tallboy of Sam Adams, I figured I'd kill a little time and drink at the bar. That's when the first text message came in on my phone telling me the flight was delayed. Ok, another beer. So now I'm down $20...the 6.99 internet wasn't sounding too bad at this point....ah well. More text messages. More delays. So I'm sitting around making friends with all the other guys on my flight who are also delayed for 4 or 5 more hours. Yeah. Great. More delays. Finally I was so irritated I didn't want to fly anymore and I canceled my ticket after like 7 hours of waiting. Called wifey and she picked me up. It's just funny after all my problems with the airline, I told the guy I want to cancel my ticket and he goes "ok, no problem. your ticket price will be put back on your credit card". Took 30 seconds. Wow. Gotta love airlines. So I'm still in Chicago. NY will have to wait. Rant over. Matthew PS - Chris, those airsoft guns still hurt when you get shot with them, they are like plastic bbs. It'll break the skin and leave a little welt. Not pleasant. |
