Subject: Re: Anyone drove the new Ford Hippy? by DaleD on 2009/11/2 15:51:37 Honda found that it's hybrid Accord didn't sell that well. The reason? It wasn't recognizable as a hybrid like a Prius. Those that would by a hybrid told pollsters that they bought a hybrid because of what it says about them. So, Ford, with a Fusion hybrid is trying the video game approach, since the Fusion and it's hybrid twin look the same. Yep, it's meant to appeal to a different kind of person than is on this forum. Ford might do some goofy stuff, but at least it's not government owned, and UAW operated. |
