Because I don't have an engineering backround, or formal training in machining/engine building, I am forced to use trial and error as my only avenue of education.
My question to him was legit.
"Have I been lucky with my stuff, or is a 2 bolt block really ok"?
He assumed it as a challenge to his professionalism.
He was wrong, thus the belittling that followed.
He is only a couple hour drive from me. I would like to meet the man, the myth, and the legend.
