Subject: Re: Who is Travis Pastrana ? by VtVette on 2010/1/4 19:59:53 While most suspension info is proprietary on the cars I can say it's most certainly able to handle any landing situation given the distance jumped even if the car does not land in an "ideal" manner. We've tested the cars many times over the course of the past few years in preparation for jumps like this and the cars have come down on the front wheels, rear wheels, one corner etc and the chassis and suspension are more than capable of withstanding the forces of impact. The Monster jump was cool but, jumping a stadium truck and comparing it to a unibody rally car is really a apples/oranges comparison |
