Subject: Do the Humpty Humpday Chat by CSS996 on 2007/10/3 12:46:52 Good Morning Gurus! Wednesday. Colorado is all buzzing over their precious Rockies baseball team. I never cared for the game myself. But I must admit that I caught the last five minutes of the wildcard tiebreaker the other night. Thirteen innings! And the Rockies won in the end. My regular day job is working for the advertising arm of a major cable company. And we sold commercial time on TBS during that game. Our region made over $200,000 in advertising dollars from that one game, so the Rockies winning is good for us. Not that I will see anything from it, other than more work getting commercials ready for the games. They have another game today, at 1pm my time. So I will probably slack off and watch it, just to see what happens. Assuming I can stay awke. Watching a baseball game has always been an instant cure for insomnia for me. Have a good 'un! |
