Snow's been on the ground for a month which ain't normal. Temps are back too, upper 40s, which, with the solar gain takes the living room up to 75 with the heat off. The sun's intense here, yesterday I had to keep cracking the windows down because it would get too hot in the pickup. At least I get to run the C4 today. Tommy, watch those plants $$$$$$, in Napa Valley they have foggers and sprinkler systems above the vines. Somehow, if you coat the vines with ice, it keeps them from freezing, go figure. A wild horse roundup starts here today, just too many horses here competing for food. They'll hold them and give away the healthy ones to horse lovers that'll take care of them. |
