There will still be leaf damage but the plants generally survive and start new growth. January and February are the months we have to keep a close eye on low temperatures. Did you know there are palm trees that can withstand snowy and frigid weather? You don't see the immediate effects of frost damage. It takes a few days till all the leaves drop off. Not a pretty sight and a big pain in the wallet. |
