But would have been probably $500-600 in body work, plus a full paint job to make it perfect. Mechanically it was 100%. Seats and radio didn't work. But I don't think they even checked that stuff. I paid $9,300 for it three years ago. Another $800 or so for the wheels. So I lost my shorts a little. But I did enjoy the car when I was able to use it. So I got my money's worth out of it, in a matter of speaking. I'm not going to talk about how much I lost on the Lincoln... Paid cash for both of those cars, so it was just fun money anyway. I don't drink, smoke, snort or travel. Cars are my thing. So it's all good. |
