Subject: Weather permitting... by NelsonV on 2010/2/22 3:26:38 ...I'll be buttoning this up tomorrow and dropping it into my '71 Chevelle Convertible.   A few numbers: 4.31 bore X 4.25 stroke (496 c.i.d.) 10.0:1 Cam duration 243/257 @ .050; lift .570/.554 int/exh All forged rotating stock. Estimated 607HP / 570 lb.-ft., but I'll be choking it with an Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake for a few weeks. HP/TQ numbers above are estimated for a Victor Jr. I'm actually considering an RPM Air Gap which (surprisingly to me) should bump those numbers up. Yeah, it's a my daily driver.  Nelson V. |
