With the bearing material floating all around the motor, we decided it best to dis-assemble the heads and clean 'em out, so add a valve job to the bill. I knew from jump it would be more than a few hundred bucks because it was a complete tear-down. But at $2250 it's still less than what I originally had feared (was expecting ~$3K). Dang it, and my brother just told me my new rifle is finally on the way to the gun shop! |
