It doesn't matter how well the garage is insulated. Period. If there is no heat source to warm it, the insulation is doing nothing. All the insulation in the world won't make it warmer.
Some guys in my club with more money than I, have heated floors in their garage with natural gas heaters in the ceiling and cold Air AC units for the summer!!
I bought a powerful fan for summer and I use a Kerosene heater for winter. It works pretty good.
