They are nothing really that special but they are perfect for a computer where you don't have the most room for a mouse or the best surface. Plus removing the red ball is very easy for cleaning and that also makes it better than a movable mouse.

The downside is scrolling. If you use a scroll mouse then you'll feel lost when you want to scroll a page up or down. I found out they make a new version that has a scroll wheel, and I plan to upgrade because scrolling has become very needed with today's online bulletins and forums.
