Engineers were in my shop this morning taking measurements figuring out how to make 3 classrooms. Even though the offer to stay one more year sounds good, I need a break. time to move on. We are truly an inner city school with all the bs that goes with it. Stats 26 homocides of our students in 8 years, 9 rapes, 100% free lunch,, 88% of our students single parent, 61% of our kids read on a 6th grade level, 12 firearms in school in 4years. Its time! I have a better chance of getting killed here then in Vietnam. Don't mean to rant.  |
