Last night once the wifey got home I took the rugrat to the park for an hour. She watched some older kids playing, went on the swings, the slide, the bars, etc. Of course didn't want to leave at 8:00 when it was time to go get cleaned up. That kid would stay there all day. I guess that means we have to get a swingset in the yard? Add it to the list. It is amazing, though, that I am teaching her words to say and she repeats so many of them almost perfectly. It wasn't like that even a few weeks ago. So it's a very fast pace that kids progress at. Wow.

I think it's better to bring the youngins to the park than set up a home playground. That's more for parental convenience. Going to the park gives kids a chance to interact with other children, gives them greater exposure to microbes from animal fecal matter, airbourne contaminants and other sight unseen microscopic materials helpng them build up the bodies defenses. This in turn can help them build strong healthy bodies.
