Actually embarrassing as it is to admit, it's been years since anyone sent me something like that, so I do cherish them. I'd just like to know who sent them for the reason stated. I'd love to keep them and enjoy them. Also considered taking them to our family burial plot and spread them around there but I know there's people in hospice and in the nursing home that would love them. I did that with the flowers left the night mamma passed away. I took the arrangements in her room and took them to the nurse's desk and asked that they be distributed to those who had no loved ones or family to visit. Trust me, being alone is hurtful and receiving one of your favorite gifts truly brightens your day. Whoever made me happy deserves to be thanked, unless of course it was the ex. |
