Subject: Question - Re: SEMA show by 85-500-horse on 2007/11/20 3:17:55 Some of you may know that may car has been and still is undergoing a long - very long build. This December will be 30 months since the build began. The car is in its final stages and should be done within a few more months. Everything (interior, exterior, motor, tranny, etc.) has been redone. My car is not for the purists because it will be unlike any 85 on the planet. Some of you may know Chris Petris (from Corvette Fever). He is the master who has been transforming my car into a work of art. He truly is amazing. I've e-mailed some photos to Bogus over the last year or so and he's impressed, so that makes me know it's been worth it. I have a few photos on the "Other" forum if you're curious what the car looks like, so far. I can't figure out how to post pictures here (duh). What I'd like to know is what exactly is involved with exhibiting a car at SEMA? Who decides if you can exhibit your car there? What are the costs involved? Is the owner responsible for getting his car there? Is there a judging? When and where is it normally held? Any other worthwhile info. you can tell me about SEMA would be appreciated. I've never been there, but have been told it's amazing. |
