Last year around this time we had rescued our son from his economic collapse in Jacksonville where he was unable to secure any gainful employment and had run a up a huge credit card debt trying to stay alive. He picked up a part time job here at Staples last August and started a full time job with Carnival Cruise Lines in November. He still works both jobs and usually works around 54 hours a week. He has been paying down his credit card debt and has built up a nice reserve for the short time he's been back to work. Of course we did our fatherly and motherly prodding but his recent successes are all on his own. I'm glad for him. I'm proud of him. We watched him go from the edge of despair to a happy self confident young man with direction, purpose and a few extra bucks in his pocket. So all I want to say is "Kudos" kid. I hope you stay on a lit path to a bright future. |
