I went on Craigslist a couple days ago, because I needed a cheap practice amp for my bass. Well, I found an amp that cost over $500 brand new, in like new condition that a guy in my town was selling for $200! Plus he had an identical amp that just needs a new speaker ($50) that I got for $25! So, if all goes well, I'll have $1,000 in bass gear for an estimated $275. Not bad. Even if the second amp is trashed, I still got a good deal. A buddy of mine was gong to sell me his identical amp for $300 a couple months ago, but I did not bite on it at the time. Yay me!
