We (the VocEd dept) are in the middle of redefining our programs and transitioning to "pathways" from the old VE2 crap. What I am finding out is I need to teach about 8 different classes, only problem is we have a 7 period day and by law I get a "planning period", so that means I'm not spread thin enough.....what BS. More crap because the Federal & state govt have gotten their hands into the education system and f@*ked it up royally. First and second periods over. So far so good, kids are pretty mundane thus far. They really don't have a chance to say much the first day or two. The weather here is just perfect, looking for highs in low 80's and a little breeze. Hope you have a great Weds. |
