I have many albums that I put on cassette, not only to play in the car but to preserve the vinyl. I bought the best cassettes at the time TDK-SA, IIRC.

The cassettes had decent quality but nothing compared tp reel to reel because of tape speed.
Same thing in standard VCR compared to HiFi VCR.
