Seems like they are ammo sensitive. Went out target shooting Saturday with Erin some of those guys are now using Ruger SRT-8 in 9mm and 40 cal. Nice feel. I shoot H&K and Glocks they are ugly but every time you pull the trigger they go Bang. BTW I think the new Ruger is less expensive then the S&W. Used a S&W Model 39 in the service jambed alot, not good in our line of work. We solved the problem with reworked 45's from WW2. The Marine Corp did them for us. Can't beat a 1911. Everybody and their brother makes 1911's now. |
