Let the customers decide the opportunity cost of extra security measures, by voting with their wallet, not the government imposing it on them. Sure some planes may fall out of the sky every now and then, but that has to be done in conjunction with staying the hell out of the business of other nations that don't want us there. If you spend money toiling in other countries' affairs overseas, you are forced to spend more money defending yourselves from them. It's like trying to extinquish a money fire by dumping more money on it. There is no accountability with the TSA, and it gets bigger and more expensive every year. Have they accomplished or prevented anything besides 8oz shampoo bottles from boarding? I'm not sure what exactly Israel's profiling process is, but if racial profiling is used here, it's just another excuse for extremists to hate and target America. |
