Places with a big Irish population have a big St. Paddys Day. Mexican areas the Cinco de Mayo. Down here they have a big Three Kings parade in January. Jewish areas will flaunt the menorah. Just because your big on it doesn't mean everybody is. It's all about respecting others beliefs or non beliefs. So when it comes to taxpayers money not everybody feels comfortable with public money spent on religious displays. On private property or on property operated by a religious concern that's up to local and national regulations.
